6/17/2017The food here is always fresh and amazing! My family and order from here at least once a week. My personal favorite thing to order is the soup of the day, their lentil soup on Thursday is delicious!! Everyday they have different soups of the day so there’s always something new to try! The owners are very kind and make you feel like you’re part
Of the family when you order. It’s like having a little piece of Colombian in Sunnyside and makes my family and I feel a little less homesick!Michelle H.

So ridiculously good…the soups are ALMOST too salty, but there’s this smooth, comforting flavor that saturates the bowl. I’ve gotten the sancocho de gallina (hen soup / stew) that they serve with rice, hen and a single crispy toston. I’ve gotten it twice. Last year and this year. And it was super good. And it’s super good now. There’s way too much pausing and posturing in this review.
PS The arepa with cheese is nice!Kent P.
4/17/2011Food is always on point. A family own restaurants which is great. Their soups are a must to try. Everyday it’s a different soup which you know it’s fresh. The fish with a side of rice and beans it’s out of this world. I always order from here because the food is always fresh and the people are always nice. Support the locals!

11/25/2013A solid choice if you are hungry and looking for some comfort food! It’s a no frills family restaurant with good food and welcoming staff. Portion sizes are very generous and we left pleasantly stuffed.
We each had the lunch special which came with soup (we got a fish and a beef), a meat (we got a shredded beef and a ribs), and rice and beans. We also got the chorizo con arepa. To drink we had a mango and a berry “milk shake”, which were very much fruit smoothies. It was good everyday food, which is just what we were looking for. We definitely didn’t need the chorizo given how much food came with the lunch special. Everything that came in the lunch special and the chorizo itself were very good, but not mind blowing. If I had to come up with a complaint: The arepa was served on the side from the chorizo and was a bit dry. Overall, I don’t think anyone would regret coming here for a casual and delicious meal!Elizabeth S.

Ordered the skirt steak and it came with side salad and rice and maduros. Food was fresh and very “casera” homemade. Def will be back!

1/06/2013The food here is out of this world. From the outside you wouldn’t think to come into this restaurant for dinner or lunch but if you do come in you would not be disappointed. The food portions are huge you’ll have enough for 2 meals. if you’re in the area stop in! the service was great, the ambiance is your typical Spanish warmth.
